Mattamuskeet Early College High School teachers, Ronald Crider and Lisa Chestnutt, received a North Carolina Beautiful Window of Opportunity Grant. The grant monies will be used to purchase weather-related equipment for the Early College Weather Station and to buy other materials needed for the science lab. Executive Director Steve Vacendak presented a check to Crider on Jan. 27, in the amount of $1,498.
