A dear friend (and his Mustang) are remembered

Neal Titus and his 1966 Mustang Fastback were the winners of the annual Smoke on the Water car show in October 2016. Titus, who recently lost his battle with cancer, purchased the car brand new in 1966. “Neal and I were friends, and I would try to get him to bring his prize ’66 Mustang out to the local shows. I was not a judge at the Smoke show in October, but made the announcement that he had won the Best of Show. He had tears in his eyes and was not believing how his car got recognized above all the others.  We had one of our largest shows ever in 2016,” said Larry Lang, a fellow classic car aficionado. “He will be dearly missed. There are very few folks that have a passion for a car for that amount of time (51 years!) and are willing to care and drive and enjoy it as he did.”
