Community Foundation accepting grant applications

From the Beaufort-Hyde Community Foundation
The board of advisors of the Beaufort-Hyde Community Foundation is currently accepting grant applications for projects funded from its community grant-making fund, according to Beth Wilder, board president.
Funds are available for nonprofit organizations that serve general charitable needs in Beaufort and Hyde counties. Applications are available online beginning Friday. Visit nccommunityfoundation.org for information about applying. The deadline for submitting applications is noon April 11.
The Beaufort-Hyde Community Foundation is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation. The community grant-making fund was established to support local charitable needs through annual grants. In addition to Wilder, board members include: Stuart O’Neal (vice-president), Buffy Johnson (secretary /treasurer), Read Allen, Charles Edwards, Nicole Howard, Tuyet Moore, Marcy Morgan, Bethany Pugh and Bill Rich.
