Those interested in adopting a pet should inquire at the Betsy Bailey Nelson Animal Control Facility, 3931 U.S. Highway 264 East, from 1 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturdays. Because of overcrowded conditions, the animals listed are only available as indicated.
All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Honey
This attractive, approximately 7-month-old terrier/pit bull/boxer-mix is a calm and gentle girl.
She loves people and getting attention from them. Her previous owner reported that Honey is good with kids, toddlers and people — including strangers, but she can be afraid of other dogs.
Honey needs owner(s) willing to give her their time, attention, love and exercise in a fenced area or on a leash, basic obedience training and a good, loving forever home. Destiny
This beautiful, 1-year-old tabby wears a shorthair coat of black and brown stripes and leopard-like spots, and pristine white highlights her face and chest. Destiny, a sweet, friendly girl, is as fond of sitting on laps as she is playtime, and she will make a wonderful addition in a variety of good forever, loving, home settings.
