BELHAVEN — On March 11, The Wilkinson Center held its third-annual “Wine, Dine & Design.”
The event included a luncheon, silent auction, table decoration contest and entertainment by Dick Feyer.
More than 20 individuals and groups decorated tables for “Wine, Dine & Design.” The following are the top entries in the “tablescape” contest.
MERMAIDS: First place went to a mermaid-themed design created by Mary Cox. The table was swathed in streamers of blue and teal, as well as mermaid tales adorned the backs of the chairs. (Friends of Belhaven)
GARDEN: Second place went to this spring garden creation, “A Stroll in the Garden,” featuring a large centerpiece of flowers. Each place setting was designed to look like a bird’s nest. (Friends of Belhaven)
PARTY: Third place went to a “Make Your Own Party” table covered in pink. This table was inspired by Darleen Smith, who passed away from breast cancer. (Friends of Belhaven)
