Chocowinity Middle wins 2nd in Battle of the Books

MIDDLE SCHOOL: Members of the middle school team are Walker Hill, Ryan Libengood, Renardo Langley, Sarah Petty, Caleb Dixon, Monaya Rodman, Dagoberto Garcia Edwards and Elizabeth Gagnon. (Chocowinity Middle)

Students from Chocowinity Middle School recently participated in the district-level Battle of the Books competitions. Both teams, elementary and middle school, finished second in the district. Lisa Baker, media coordinator, and Paige Cochran, AIG teacher, coach both teams.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: Members of the elementary team are Savannah Phelps, Elizabeth Winkel, Taliyah Moore, Lilly Ann Davis, Lelia Jones, Tai’asia Price, Emma Silva, Genesis Castro and Savannah Trower. (Chocowinity Middle)
