Aurora man arrested on heroin charges

On Thursday, investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit served a search warrant on Bobby Moore’s residence at 21073 N.C. Highway 33 East in Aurora.
Investigators found 79 bags of heroin, packaging material used to package heroin and $8,215.
Moore was arrested and charged with trafficking in heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. Moore’s arrest stemmed from investigators making purchases of heroin from Moore and conducting surveillance on his residence and witnessing Moore selling heroin from his residence.
Moore was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $250,000 secured bond. He is currently on probation for drug charges and out on a $100,000 secured bond for possession with intent to sell, manufacture and deliver heroin.
