On Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Ruth’s House hosted its inaugural golf tournament at Cypress Landing Golf Club. Registration began at 9 a.m. Saturday. The 18-hole tournament was played in teams of four, and entry cost $75 per person. The golf tournament raised money for Ruth’s House and its domestic violence shelter to further its mission to help women in Beaufort County suffering from domestic abuse. Ruth’s House plans to make the tournament an annual event.
