From Robinson Law Firm
Area attorney Les Robinson has again been invited to join The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100. Composed of premier trail lawyers from each state or region, this invitation-only organization extends membership opportunities only to attorneys who demonstrate superior qualifications of leadership, reputation, influence, stature and public profile in compliance with North Carolina State Bar Rules and national Rule 4-7 (Rule 4-7 is the national judicial code that refers to the lawyer’s code of conduct). These attorneys must meet stringent qualifications as civil plaintiff and/or criminal defense trial lawyers. The selection process begins with peer nominations and is then followed up with third-party research before each nominee is confirmed.
“I am honored to have been invited to join The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 for the fourth year,” Robinson said. “The National Trial Lawyers organization offers members access to continuing legal education (CLE) programs and professional networking opportunities with some of the best trial lawyers in America.”
Dedicated to preserving and protecting justice for all, The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 constantly strives to give members a competitive edge in today’s ever-changing legal profession through networking, advocacy training and education programs.
Robinson was born and raised in Greenville. He graduated from East Carolina University and immediately thereafter, attended Campbell University School of Law where he received his Juris Doctorate degree in 1986.
After graduating from law school, Robinson returned to Greenville where he entered into private practice in August 1986. Since that time, he has tried more than 3,000 bench and jury trials throughout eastern North Carolina.
Robinson has been repeatedly elected by his peers to leadership positions in local, district and state bar organizations. He served for nine years as the elected bar councilor representative to the North Carolina State Bar. As bar councilor, he served on numerous committees in the capacity as committee member, vice chair and chair. In addition, he is a frequent continuing legal education (CLE) speaker for legal associations throughout the state. He has also given CLE presentations for the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, North Carolina Bar Association, North Carolina Public Defenders and the North Carolina Institute of Government.
