GREENVILLE — 264 Shoes and Apparel, located on U.S. Highway 264 East toward Washington, is excited to announce that it is taking its inventory online through a new site: www.264Shoes.com.

The new site features men’s boots, work shoes and a broad inventory of Carhartt apparel. There are more than 4,000 styles and sizes of boots and shoes in stock online and ready to ship.

The large online inventory is a perfect complement to the store’s physical location, which has more than 40,000 square feet of space and boasts the largest inventory of men’s, women’s and children’s shoes and apparel east of Raleigh.

With the website launch, 264 Shoes and Apparel became the first online retailer of boots within a 50-mile radius of Greenville. Recent data from Google suggests that online sales of boots have increased 75 percent since 2005, and this new website marks an important step toward meeting the needs of growing customer demand.

“This has been a very exciting year for our company,” said manager Tyler Fortner. “Not only did we recently undergo a complete rebranding, but we’ve added this new site to make visiting our store easier and more convenient than ever before.”

Medical scrubs, women’s and children’s shoes and apparel are still only available in store. However, eventually all items will be added to the site, taking the entire inventory online for a seamless buying experience.
