Mr. Gemekia Zake Mackey, 39, who resided at Bells Fork Road, Greenville, NC, died June 17, 2017 at Raleigh, NC.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Ponzer Community Building, 39111 U.S. Hwy 264 E, Belhaven. Burial will follow at Clayton Family Cemetery, Scranton, NC. Viewing at the funeral home will be Friday from 5:30-7:00pm with final viewing one hour before the service.

Arrangements are by New Beginning Funeral Home and Cremation, 219 N. Bonner Street, Washington.

The family is receiving friends at 701 Sladesville-Credle Road, Scranton.
