South Market Antiques is thrilled to announce the launch of its new website.

Based in Washington, South Market Antiques opened in the fall of 2010 on South Market Street. After 2 1/2 years, the store moved to 127 W. Main St. to share a building with Little Shoppes, a store offering about 25 dealers and artisans.

Owner Pat Williams Lewis is a third-generation antique dealer in Beaufort County, following in her parents’ and grandfather’s footsteps.

“We carry farmhouse items, kitchen and glassware, collectibles and so much more! I personally love our primitives and mid-century items,” Lewis said. “I grew up in Beaufort County, so starting my business here has been such a good time. I love being on the waterfront and the sense of community between the local businesses downtown.”

South Market Antiques is easily accessible from Main Street or the gorgeous waterfront, where visitors will find plenty of public parking. Hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and 1-4 p.m. on Sundays.
