The town of Belhaven hosted its four-day, 75th-annual Fourth of July Celebration, which culminated in a full day of activities Tuesday. The day’s events kicked off with the Little Miss Independence Pageant, followed by a parade down Main Street at 11 a.m. and the Pantego Mud Run at 1 p.m. Raining Mercy, Don Cox’s band and the Easy Breeze Band provided live music throughout the long weekend. Residents also turned out for the Anything That Floats contest Tuesday at the town docks.

Update: The fireworks display was cancelled Tuesday due to rain.
