County 4-H offers summer fun

SWAN QUARTER — Hyde County 4-H recently wrapped up its annual summer camp, but the fun activities will continue through mid-August.

This year’s summer camp, held at the Eastern 4-H Center in Columbia, featured kayaking, high ropes course, climbing wall and archery lessons, to name a few. Children ages 8 to 14 signed up to participate.

People who are interested in volunteering at Hyde County 4-H’s upcoming summer activities are asked to call 252-926-4486 for more information. Those interested in signing up for activities should call Hyde County Extension Office at 252-926-4489.
