In a partnership with Beaufort County Community College, AAF Flanders sent seven of its employees to Six Sigma green belt training. The students completed a 64-hour class about improving processes, cutting waste and cutting cost in their facility. Each student developed an action plan for an area in the company that needed improvement. At the end, they presented reports showing the cost and materials saved through their new ideas to their managers and supervisors.
