Mr. Acey Morton Paschall Jr., age 73, a resident of 1918 Whichards Beach Road, Chocowinity, died Monday, July 10, 2017 at his home.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday, July 14, 2017 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and will be conducted by Pastor Greg Ramsey. Billy Jones, Marc Lynn, Chad Carson, Billy Taylor, Brian Walters and Al Collier will serve as pallbearers. David Rowe will serve as honorary pallbearer.
Mr. Paschall was born in Nash County on December 9, 1943 to the late Acey Morton Paschall Sr. and Ernestine Grace Eddins Paschall. On November 1, 1963, he married Naomi Ruth Moore, who preceded him in death on January 24, 2015.
He was employed in quality control with Lee Chevrolet for 34 years.
Survivors include his son, Ray Paschall and wife Carla of Chocowinity; four sisters, Grace Baker and husband Max of Chocowinity, Faye Morrison of, Pennsylvania, Sue Phipps and husband Charlie of Maryland, Cathy Paschall of Chocowinity; one brother, William “Buddy” Paschall and wife Lorraine of Maryland; grandchildren, Michael Paschall of Chocowinity, Bobby Somers and wife Whitney of Ludowici, Georgia, Dusty Somers and wife Zada of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Leighanne Terry and husband Bo of Washington, Tori Woolard of Chocowinity, Allen Paschall and wife Lisa of Chocowinity; great grandchildren, Alyssa, Damian, Christian, Maddison, Lathon, Charlotte, Liam, Haley, Jeramiah, Braxton, Mason, Avery and Carson. He was preceded in death by one son, Acey Paschall III, one daughter, Ruthie Paschall and one brother, Lonnie Paschall Sr.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at the home.
