Alvah “Al” R. Perry 60, of Colerain, died Wednesday August 30, 2017 at Vidant Memorial Hospital in Greenville. He was born in Windsor, NC January 24, 1957 to the late Horace Randolph and Helen Clair Castellow Perry. Al was a member of Colerain Baptist Church and a heavy equipment mechanic. He served in the US Coast Guard for 7 years.

Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday September 2, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Perry Family Cemetery in Wakelon with military honors. Pastor Gary Saffell will officiate.

The family will receive friends following the graveside service. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Colerain Rescue Squad, PO Box 397, Colerain, NC 27924 or to any Fire and Rescue squad of your choice.
