PLYMOUTH – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office and agents with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation arrested Marvin Jordae Lewis, 28, on Monday, Sept. 18, at 5:30 p.m. for accessory after the fact to first degree murder of Craig Swain.
Lewis, of 794 Alligood Road, Creswell, is in the Washington County Jail under a $300,000 bond.
Craig Swain was last seen in February 2008 at a Super Bowl party off Jones White Road in Creswell. Eight months ago, the sheriff’s office and the SBI upgraded Swain’s case from a missing person to a homicide investigation based on new leads.
“More arrests are pending, and the investigation will continue,” said Washington County Sheriff Johnny Barnes. “We encourage anyone with information in this case to call our office.”
