Washington (noon) Rotary hears from support groups

Introduced by Washington (noon) Rotary member and United Way Director Sally Love, Nadine Gordon of the Real Crisis Center in Washington delivered a presentation that explained the various intervention services they provided.
Focused primarily on suicide prevention, the call center also provides:
- Counseling
- Information & Referral
- Sexual Assault Services
- Advocacy
- Suicide Intervention/Prevention
- Dial-A-Teen
- Community Resource Connection
- Outreach/Education
The Real Crisis Center is funded by the United Way, which in turn receives support from the Washington (noon) Rotary. This provided an opportunity for club members to hear, first hand, of the benefits derived from their fundraising efforts throughout the year.

Washington Noon Rotary consists of volunteers within Beaufort County dedicating their efforts to charitable causes both locally and those to which its parent organization subscribes.
