Michael Proctor was honored for his years of service as the recreation director for the Town of Belhaven. Mayor Adam O’Neal presented Proctor with a plaque at Monday night’s Board of Aldermen meeting to commemorate his retirement from the position. O’Neal said Proctor has a passion for working with children.
