Senator presents check to Ruth’s House

North Carolina Sen. Bill Cook presented a $100,000 check to Ruth’s House Tuesday, as part of his ongoing support of the organization. Ruth’s House is an organization dedicated to assisting victims of domestic violence in Beaufort County.
“People like you make a community work,” Cook said. “I don’t think you get enough thanks.”
