Anthony “Tony” Thomas Stanley, age 30, a resident of Washington and a former resident of Chocowinity, died Tuesday, October 17, 2017.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington.

The family will receive friends at the home of his parents in Chocowinity.

Tony was born in Carteret County on February 14, 1987, son of Robert D. Stanley and Yvonne S. Stanley. He attended Southside High School and was a mechanic at Expert Transmission of Washington. Tony was a member of Union Chapel Free Will Baptist Church of Chocowinity and loved fishing and his children.

Surviving along with his parents: Robert and Yvonne of Chocowinity are two children: Brielle Helen Stanley of Washington and Dominic Anthony Stanley of

Chocowinity; two sisters: Danielle Stanley and Christina Mauser, both of Greenville; paternal grandparents: Clifton and Gloria Stanley of Swansboro; maternal grandparents: Thomas and Yvonne Farrin of Chocowinity.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for memorial contributions be made to the Brielle and Dominic Stanley Educational Fund, 463 Taylor Road, Chocowinity, NC 27817.
