Mr. Thomas Ruffin “T.R.” Sawyer, 89, a resident of 1151 W. Pungo St., Belhaven, died Saturday, July 2, 2011, at Pungo District Hospital. A funeral will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at West Belhaven Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Belhaven Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Paul Funeral Home, Belhaven, and other times at the home of Carolyn Craddock, 307 Smith Shore Road, Belhaven. Complete arrangements will be announced by Paul Funeral Home, Belhaven.
