NEW SOLDIER: Pvt. Sayvon Brooks, 20, of Washington, recently completed basic training at the United States Army Installation Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri. Brooks is a graduate of Washington High School Class of 2015. He is the son of Kendra Brooks and the grandson of Moses and Alberta Brooks. Sayvon successfully completed 12 weeks of mentally and physically challenging training to achieve the qualifications of private and soldier. Savyon is currently stationed at Ft. Leonard Wood, taking additional courses to procure a specialization in his desired field of interest. (Alberta Brooks)
