The driver of a Toyota Avalon ended up taken an accidental dive into Jack’s Creek near John Small Avenue at approximately 6 p.m. Friday. The vehicle was travelling west on East Fifth Street when the driver missed the curve in the road, jumped the curb and blew out two tires before launching into the creek, according to authorities at the scene.

The driver was treated by Washington Fire-Rescue-EMS personnel and was conscious with no discernible major injuries, officials said.
