Pungo’s four basketball teams swept Lawrence Academy in the Nick Brantley Tournament on Thursday. The games began with junior-varsity girls, which the Lady Raiders won, 26-23. Emma Williams led the team with 11 points. Haley Elliott had eight, and Morgan Burroughs added five.

The junior-varsity boys and varsity girls each thrashed their Lawrence counterparts. The JV boys won, 41-21, on the back of Miller Lee’s 21 points. Devin Cadle scored nine and Davis Lee had seven.

Emily Spencer and Rebecca Hodges each netted 11 points to help the varsity Lady Raiders cruise to a 56-34 win. Riley Cutler and Lauren Kellie Ricks each added nine. Emma Allen and Brinson Edmundson had eight apiece, too.

Pungo’s varsity boys downed Lawrence in the main event, 57-42. Ryan Bishop (13) and Cameron Howell (11) each scored in double digits. Nate Vanstaalduinen had eight. Chandler Cuthrell had seven. Brent Benson had six. Albert Ruiz and Ben Simmons each potted four points. Miller O’Neal and Jacob Alligood each had a pair.
