From Bath Community Library

BATH — In the spirit of the season, the Bath Community Library is holding a pet food drive to benefit the Pet Food Pantry of Eastern North Carolina. This charitable food resource helps prevent the abandonment or surrender of animals when their families are no longer able to feed them. Overdue fines will be waived during the month of December with a pet food donation. Dry food is preferred. The highlight of the pet food drive will be a Christmas party on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. Guests to the party are asked to bring a pet food donation.  Staff members from Pamlico Animal Hospital will be on hand with some of their special animal friends and a basic dog-obedience demonstration. A dog chew toy will be crafted for donation along with the pet food. Enjoy refreshments while making a gift to that will benefit our community. The Bath Community Library is located at 102 S. Harding St. in Bath. For more information, call 252-923-6371 or go the Bath Community Library Facebook page.
