Mrs. Yvonne Evans Cutler, age 76, a resident of Washington, died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017, at Ridgewood Nursing Center of Washington.

A funeral service will be held at noon on Monday, Dec. 18, 2017, at First Church of Christ in Washington, officiated by Ray West. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Evans, Mark Evans, Mitch Respess, Lee Ferguson, Lee Moore, David Walker and Jay Dixon.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Monday at the church.

Mrs. Cutler was born in Beaufort County on Dec. 4, 1941, daughter of the late Archie Edmond Evans, Sr. and the late Beulah Lewis Evans. She was a 1959 graduate of Washington High School. On July 4, 1963, she married William Tayloe Cutler, Sr. Mrs. Cutler worked in the accounting field, having worked at Moss Planing Mill, Royster Clark, National Spinning and Scotts Department Store. She was a member of First Church of Christ.

Surviving along with her husband William of the home are three sons: William “Billy” Cutler, Jr. (Melody) of Washington, Troy A. Cutler (Annette) of Washington and Stephen Cutler (Ellen) of Wake Forest; two brothers: Coy Evans (Gail) of Washington and Ikie Evans (Rita) of Washington and eight grandchildren: Zach, Charis, Juliet, Brandon, Ashley, Trey, Jack and Will Cutler. Mrs. Cutler was predeceased by two brothers: Edmond and Jay Evans.
