TYRRELL COUNTY DEPUTIES CHARGED TWO INMATES at Tyrrell Prison Work Farm on December 11 with possession of controlled substance on prison/jail premises. Xavier D. Johnson, 40, possessed suboxone, and Jahmel J. Ross, 25, possessed marijuana. This brings the total to 30 inmates that have been charged with drug offenses at Tyrrell Prison Work Farm north of Columbia since May, said Sheriff Darryl Liverman. The investigation is ongoing.
