Ellis Ray Tripp, “Ray Ray,” 38, of 1301 Goldsboro St, New Bern, died Friday, Dec. 22, 2017, at UNC Health Care, Chapel Hill. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec.30, 2017, at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 1130 Walt Bellamy Drive, New Bern. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. At other times the family will receive friends at the residence where they will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
