FESTIVE LOCATION: The East Main Street home of Alton L. and Betty Lou Ingalls caught Washington Police Department officers’ eyes with its festive holiday décor. As judges for the City of Washington’s annual Spirit of Christmas holiday decoration contest, the officers awarded Ingalls’ home second place. Betty Lou Ingalls said she was thrilled to recognized. She, along with help from her daughter, Nichole Cross, decked the house and yard with multi-colored lights, hung ornaments from a front-yard evergreen and populated the porch with Santa, a snowman and more.
