Mrs. June Melrose Bonney Ansell, age 87, a former resident of Knotts Island, died Friday, Dec. 29, 2017, at River Trace Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Washington. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2017, at Knotts Island Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Knotts Island Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from noon until the funeral hour at the church. Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington is serving the Ansell family.
