CMS inducts Junior Beta Club members

Chocowinity Middle School held its Junior Beta Club induction ceremony Dec. 14, in the CMS gym. Club advisors Jim Wood and Sandy Sadler, along with Principal Kimberly Gibbs and Assistant Principal Brianna Williams, held the ceremony to induct 22 CMS seventh and eighth graders into Jr. Beta. President Alexis Whitehurst began the candle ceremony and was followed by Walker Hill, vice president, Alexis Rodgers, secretary, Campbell Barnes, treasurer and Shawn Gerard. CMS Beta current members are Kylie Bowden, Camden Drew, James Main and Alexis Whitehurst. 2017 inductees were Trey Alligood, Talia Askew, Campbell Barnes, Amber Dickinson, Caleb Dixon, Joshua Dixon, Shawn Gerard, Victor Gonzalez, Daniela Hernandez, Jazmin Hernandez, Walker Hill, Mackenzie Jeter, Renardo Langley, Hunter Leary, Gabe Matthews, Harrison Phelps, Matthew Pursell, Jack-Ryan Roark, Alexis Rogers, Ashley Tripp, Kaleb Tripp and Yasmin Woolard.
