Casey Reed Squires

Mr. Casey Reed Squires, age 20, a resident of Bath, passed Monday, Feb. 5, 2018, as a result of an automobile accident near his home.

Casey was born Feb. 28, 1997, to Corinna Cox in Beaufort County. He was a 2016 graduate of Northside High School and was a driver for Trader Construction. Casey was an avid outdoorsman and loved sports, especially hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his mother, Corinna Cox, of the home; two sisters, Dawn Harper and husband Mike, of Bath, and Karlee Squires of Bath; two nephews, Ashten and Zack Harper, both of Bath; and his beloved lab, “Drake.” He is also survived by his grandmother, Rebecca Moore of Bath. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Larry Cox.

A celebration of his life will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018, at The River Church in Bath, with Pastor Ron Bousquet officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 9, 2018, at the church and other times at the home. A private burial will be held at the Moore Family Cemetery. The following will serve as pallbearers: Michael Pepple, Gregory Squires, Devin Davis, Tevin Jackson, David Harding and Brad Moore. Memorial contributions may be directed to Gofundme (Casey Squires) account or the choice of the donor. Hillside Funeral Service & Cremations, U.S. Highway 264 East, Washington, has been given the honor of being entrusted with serving the Squires family.
