Mr. Zeddie Edward “Zed” Taylor, 58, formerly of Chocowinity, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007, at Britthaven of Washington.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in the home of his brother, Melvin Taylor Jr., 455 Rowe Lane, Blounts Creek, with pastor Ray Webb officiating.
Mr. Taylor was born Oct. 10, 1949, the son of the late Melvin Thomas Taylor Sr. and Catherine Virginia Martin Taylor. He graduated from Pamlico County High School in 1969. He worked as a truck driver for many years, last working for B.E. Singleton and Sons until 2002. He attended Christ Vision Church.
Survivors include two brothers, Melvin T. Taylor Jr. of Blounts Creek and Johnnie Walter Taylor of New Bern; two children and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the home of his brother, Melvin Taylor Jr., 455 Rowe Lane, Blounts Creek.
