Those interested in adopting a pet should inquire at the Betsy Bailey Nelson Animal Control Facility, 3931 U.S. Highway 264 East, from 1 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturdays. Because of overcrowded conditions, the animals listed are only available as indicated.

SPAY/NEUTER CLINICS
February is National Spay/Neuter Month. The reduced-cost spay/neuter clinics in Beaufort County are now making appointments. During the month of February, local Beaufort County veterinarian hospitals will conduct spay and neuter procedures at reduced rates for cats and dogs.
Call the Beaufort County Veterinarian hospital of your choice and make your appointment now: Chocowinity Veterinary Hospital, 252-946-9000; Pamlico Animal Hospital, 252-946-2834; and Tar River Animal Hospital, 252-975-2417.

Gracelynn
Sweet, affectionate and cuddly Gracelynn wants to hear sugary talk, be held and be petted.

Happy, cute and sweet are three words that begin to describe this Labrador retriever-mix girl. Her adorable face and loveable personality will melt your heart. Very playful and wiggly at approximately 4 months old, Liza would love an active family, one that will include her in their activities.
