Louis Earl Smith, 61, of 1305 Holman St., Kinston, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, at the North Carolina Veterans Home. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018, at Haughton Chapel FWB Church. Burial will follow in the Haiti Cemetery. The visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, 2018, at the funeral home. The family will assemble at 331 Old New Bern Road, Trenton, in preparation for the procession. Arrangements are by the Trinity Memorial Funeral Home.
