From Vidant Beaufort Hospital
Colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in the United States. Symptoms of colon cancer can be vague and disguised as simple gastrointestinal discomfort yet colon cancer is preventable. We know that early detection saves lives. Don’t let the fear keep you from scheduling your screening.
Join Dr. Thomas Ruffolo with Vidant Gastroenterology Washington for “Dinner with a Doc” to learn the difference between prevention and early detection of colon cancer. He will also share information about signs and symptoms and explain how early screenings are saving lives. This event is being hosted on March 13 at 6 p.m. at the Tavern at Jack’s Neck in Belhaven or March 27 at the Washington Civic Center.
