CHIP JONES RECENTLY DONATED AN EPIPHONE GUITAR to the Columbia High/Middle School String Club. Receiving it is club member Rosa Cruz-Torres, a senior (left). The club has 15 students who practice before school, during breakfast and lunch, after school and whenever they have a class break. “The students teach and encourage each other,” says club advisor Carol Lee. And they would welcome more guitars for students to check out for a semester.
