For students interested in a career in law enforcement, Larry Barnes, director of Basic Law Enforcement Training at Beaufort County Community College, will hold an informational session from 5 to 7 p.m. April 8 in Building 10. The program requires an application packet that needs to be completed before the start of the next training. The info session will walk potential applicants through the steps to apply. The training will provide students with the skills needed for entry-level police or sheriff’s deputy positions.
