A traffic accident on N.C. Highway 33 between Chocowinity and Southside High School has traffic blocked in both directions on Wednesday afternoon. According to Cocowinity EMS Captain Shane Grier, the accident involved a power pole. Further details were not immediately available from the North Carolina Highway Patrol.
