JAMESVILLE — Agnes Marie Padgett Ange, 83, of Jamesville died Friday, June 29, 2018, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

Born March 23, 1935 in Martin County she was the daughter of the late Dennis Padgett and Lela Warren Padgett and was preceded in death by her husband, Foy Wilford Ange; brothers, Charlie Padgett and Archie Padgett. Marie worked with her husband running the family farm, was a homemaker and member of Christian Hope Church of Christ.

Her family includes her daughters, LaRhue Crowe and husband Howard of Nebo, KY and Dayna Pressley of Sarasota FL; sons, Dwayne Ange and wife Kathy and Rodney Ange and wife Shelia both of Jamesville, N.C.; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Monday, July 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth with Reggie Braziel officiating. Burial will follow in the Ange Family Cemetery.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Maitland Funeral Home and other times at the residence. Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to Christian Hope Church of Christ.
