On July 8, car enthusiasts parked and popped open their hoods at China Bay Buffet in Chocowinity. Organized by Down East Rods & Classics, a Washington-based club, the drive-in takes place there from 4 to 6 p.m. on the second Sunday of each month,April through Oct.
“It’s a time to come and socialize,” said club member Larry Lang. “It doesn’t have to be anything fancy. If you’re proud of your vehicle, that’s all that matters.”
