Pamlico Farm Tour to continue despite rain

The 2018 Pamlico County Farm Tour is still scheduled to proceed today. Due to heavy rain, the tour will be transitioning indoor programs. Specialists will still be joining, so come learn about on-farm trials and projects. The tour will maintain its start location at the Silver Hill Christian Church in Grantsboro. Before traveling to Oriental Free Will Baptist Church at 600 Ragan Rd, Oriental, NC 28571 for speaker presentations.

8 to 8:30 a.m. Registration and welcome at Silver Hill Christian Church
Travel to Rain Location from Silver Hill: Oriental Free Will Baptist Church
9 a.m. Multi-County Corn Variety Trial – Mr. Daniel Simpson
9:30 a.m. Soybean Program Update & Replant Decisions – Dr. Rachel Vann
10 a.m. Corn Starter and Soybean Potassium – Dr. Carl Crozier
10:30 a.m. Corn Fertility – Dr. Ron Heiniger
11:30 a.m. Lunch – Brantley’s Village Restaurant
