Those interested in adopting a pet should inquire at the Betsy Bailey Nelson Animal Control Facility, 3931 U.S. Highway 264 East, from 1 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturdays. Because of overcrowded conditions, the animals listed are only available as indicated.

Thor

Packed with plenty of personality and charm, this 2-month-old male kitten exhibits a sweet, friendly, playful and gentle nature. Non-purebred cats have a little of this and a little of that in their genes. This baby, a black and white bi-color, also has Turkish Van DNA and his ears are breed specific, most likely Abyssinian or Devon Rex, and all that is rolled up in one neat little package we call Thor! Olaf

Approximately 3 years old, Olaf is already neutered and ready to go, after his reduced fee is paid. Listed as a Labrador Retriever/hound mix, this large fellow is handsome with an attractive face, a well-proportioned body, brown/black coat and long legs. A bit shy at first, Olaf quickly warms up showing his friendly, fun-loving side. Olaf will do best with active owner(s) willing to give him their love, take him along on their outings, exercise — playtime may be included — in a fenced area or on a leash, basic obedience training and a good forever home.
