From Pamlico Animal Hospital

Pamlico Animal Hospital would like to welcome two excellent associates to our team.

Olivia Myers, DVM

Olivia Myers, DVM — originally from Lexington, North Carolina — attended Catawba College, where she received a BS in biology, with minors in chemistry and environmental science. She graduated in 2018 from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Myers played tennis and ran cross-country at Catawba. She has a love of sports and the outdoors, as well as animals. You will probably see her running around Washington! Her other hobbies include following N.C. State athletics and attending games when possible. In addition to working at Pamlico Animal Hospital, Myers will be working one day a week practicing swine medicine with Livestock Veterinary Services in Kinston. She looks forward to getting to know all of the clients and pets at Pamlico Animal Hospital.

Jessica Palmer, DVM

Jessica Palmer, DVM — originally from Newark, Delaware — attended the University of Delaware where she received a BS in pre-veterinary medicine and animal biosciences, a BA in ancient Greek and Roman studies, and a minor in philosophy. She graduated from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. Palmer moved to Washington after graduation and is excited to serve the community as a part of the Pamlico Animal Hospital team.
