Requests for more information with regard to the animals appearing in Pets of the Week may be directed to shelter staff in person at the shelter during business hours or by emailing animal.control@co.beaufort.nc.us — always use the animal’s ID number.

Please note, the shelter is closed on the first Wednesday of each month for cleaning and maintenance.

Radar

Cuter than cute, sweet and adorable just begins to describe Radar. Just look at those ears, that face! What’s not to love? He’s listed as a 2-month-old, tan and white American Staffordshire terrier mix puppy — but there are hints that there’s more terrier in him. Radar is a funloving, playful boy who loves to cuddle and clown. He will do best with owner(s) who will give him their love, attention, care, obedience training, routine exercise — play may be included, in a fenced area or on leash — all appropriate for his age, and of course, a good forever home. Come spend a little with time with this wonderful pup and see what a great little guy he is. Radar’s ID is No. 1288.

Sherbert

This handsome approximately 8-month-old tabby boy wears a beautiful American shorthair coat of snow white, pastel orange and slightly darker apricot stripes. His facial features include huge, glistening light-green eyes and a rosebud nose. Sherbert is a really nice fellow with a playful, friendly, calm and gentle nature. He will be a welcome addition in a variety of good forever, loving, home settings. Once there, he will blossom into a wonderful pet and companion. Sherbert’s ID is No. 1228. Pay him a visit and see for yourself what great cat he is. He’s available at the shelter.
