Chocowinity native takes on First Bank banking officer role

Latanya Starkie-Windley has recently transferred from First Bank’s office in Greenville to First Bank in Washington and been promoted to assistant branch manager/teller manager. With this promotion, she has also been elected banking officer by First Bank’s Board of Directors in Southern Pines.

Starkie-Windley is a native of Beaufort County, where she has resided her entire life. Windley is a 1992 graduate of Chocowinity High School. She is married to Terrell Windley, and is a mother of four children. She is the daughter of Tyrone and Jackie Starkie, of Chocowinity, and also the granddaughter of her paternal grandmother, Mary Starkie, also of Chocowinity. Latanya is an active church member of the New Birth Christian Center located on East Third Street in Washington.
