Sound Side Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate its 166th anniversary on Sunday, September 16. There will be no Sunday School that day, and the worship service will begin at 10:00 a. m.

There will be special music, former pastors will speak, church history will be read, memorial to the deceased members since 2012 to the present, fellowship, and food.

“Best of all will be great preaching.” states Dr. Allen Brickhouse. “The morning message will be delivered by our current pastor, Rev. Stephen Duncan. Lunch will be served in the fellowship hall after the services around 12 noon. Everyone is invited to join us in this great celebration.”
