The Washington (evening) Rotary Club met Thursday at the Washington Yacht & Country Club. After a social period in the Upper Deck, members moved to the Pamlico Room for dinner and business. The Club is undergoing heavy hurricane damage repair and were very gracious host as usual to the Rotarians. Members were very appreciative.

President Norm Koestline called the meeting to order. Dr. Zeno Edwards led members in the Pledge of Allegiance and Todd Williamson led in one verse of “America.” Club Chaplain Russell Smith gave thanks for the meal. The business at hand was club elections. Serena Sullivan and Russell Smith were reappointed as directors. Russell Smith was selected as president-elect. Rocky Jacobs will have the program Oct. 11 and will be offering the Rotary 101 refresher course. Due to the hurricane, the annual Partner/Charter night has been rescheduled for Nov. 8 at the Club. As the meeting came to a close, members recited The Four Way Test of the Things We Think, Say and Do.
